Today, I stand in need of God’s Grace.
That it would be free, for I cannot merit it.
That it would be great, enough to cover a multitude of sins.
That Grace would proceed from God (source), through God (medium), and be found in God Himself, for I have none of it in and of myself .
That it would be sufficient to deliver me from what I deserve, to be cast into outer darkness!
That it would be mighty to save, because I am helpless to save myself.
That it would seal me and keep me, for I am prone to wander.
That it would be triumphant, for I have failed.
Oh, the kindness of your Grace, oh Lord! Oh, that you would lavish your Grace on me, a needy sinner!
“…set your hope fully on the Grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” I Peter 1:13b
